when you fit an fmic does it warm the rad?

hey guys,

when fitting a fmic in front of the rad, does it cause the rad's temperature to increase at all, as it blocks most of the air from thefront of the car????

I'd guess it does a little, but it doesn't restrict flow to the rad as much as you might think. As long as the IC and rad are spaced correctly, the rad will perform almost as well.

i have noticed when i fitted my fmic, the fans for the rad come on more often, but the temp gauge inside the car has not gone up than i can notice.

There is enough capacity in the cooling system for it to make little difference.

not noticed any diff since mine was fitted:thumb:

if the gap between the rads is to big, dont you gret a pressure drop(ie no air) between them then cooling struggles.
think you got to have them slap together.
correct me if i'm wrong:wonder:
