bailey DV26 VTA Dump Valve

Just fitted the above to my dads new scoob, uk 1995 turbo.

I have a 1997 with a DV26 on it and it ok and tssssshhhhh's all the time

We took my dads out and No sound at all almost:( :( , no fitting problems or faulty dump valve as we put it on mine and was ok.

just wondered if it just no the best dump valve for that year of car would a forge one be any better or another brand.

Ta

Check all the clips are tight! Dont think its a valve problem, more likley to be somthing loose or plumbed wrong! Does the car boost ok? If your dads has lower boost pressure than yours itl be quieter.

I fitted the same d/v to my my95 uk turbo and imo it was not very good not very loud as you say and poor running when off boost or slighty on boost.Replaced with standard recirc runs so much better.
