Did you try the plug's or the lead's.

a lot of early cars run very rich on cold start and this can cause a fuel mis-fire.....................sounds like what you have, though it would be worth having a good check out anyways

If your not sure dont chance it, murphy's law (if it can go wrong it will)
When im changing my plug's i spray a small bit of wd-40 on the rubber boot and slide it up the lead, then a long nose pull it off.
You can damage the lead if you just reef it off.

mite let the garage do that job then is it worth checking other parts that may cause the missfiring probblem and what could it be (plugs coil packs) out else all the info would be great thanks
