FMIC

I know its probably been asked befor but i want to upgrade to a front mount but not sure which to get.
Budget aint great but seen a couple for sale through flat4online and a couple on ebay by 2fast2cool2.com, JP-spec etc

Buy Japanese Performance this month mate. Quite a good comparison write up between standard, cheap top mount, expensive top mount and FMIC with un-supprising results lol

2fast2cool is an XS-power item IIRC, and they don't have a very good rep on some forums. Personally having helped fit an FMIC, exhaust manifold and turbo back exhaust from XS-power, I would say that their products are crap and don't fit. 200sx BTW

FMIC from flat4online fitted to mine. Seems like good quality and fit, but, it doesn't come with a silcone pipe for the hard pipe to the turbo or for the dump valve pipe which is in the hard pipe that feeds the throttle body.

Not completely happy with how Ive fitted mine yet though, think I need to tinker with it a bit ;)

Oh and I now get loads more LOUD pops and bangs from the exhaust, which IMO is a good thing :D :D

oh yes worth having it done just for that :thumb: :thumb: :D

cookstar 15 December 2006 09:55 PM

Why would a fm make your car pop and bang more?

Rid 15 December 2006 09:55 PM

Looks like i know where my money will be going then.
Flat4 seems good choice plus pops and bangs are a bonus :D
