Charity donations instead of giving presents
Right, I hate this time of year, the commercial side of it at least.
Instead of lining the pockets of retailers, I'd rather give money to a charity instead. Does anyone know if you usually get some kind of receipt or generic card in response to random donations? Steve. |

Cool. I also noticed I can adopt an elephant (among other animals) via the WWF :)

My son has got my mum the Orang-a-tang from WWF, best of both worlds, a pressie and a charity donation! :thumb:

Agreed christmas is $hit, but i dont think thats the answer. |
I dont know, there are plenty of people who aint bothered about getting a pressie, theres nothing anybody can buy me that I want unless they're spending a couple of hundred on me which is unfair cause I wouldnt spend that on them ;) So on Christmas day if someone said they've sponsored a goat on my behalf then fine by me, I know someone is getting some use out of it :thumb:
