slippyr4 28 November 2001 11:35 AM

What exactly goes on at bedford autodrome? i live like 2 miles (as the crow flies) from it, so obviously it's be pretty easy for me to turn up.

simon_prickett 28 November 2001 11:50 AM

I'll be there with lpitt...

Simon.

lpitt 28 November 2001 11:55 AM

An' I'll be there with my new car :)

Just hope I can borrow a helmet (XXXXXXXL) on the day to cadge some passenger rides.

L.

Josh L 28 November 2001 11:55 AM

slippyr4,

What goes....now there's a question.

I think I would have to sum it up by saying that various members drive around the circuit at sppeds beyond the legal limits, and occasionally beyond their abilities ;) And I stand around getting cold, taking pictures of them driving across the grass.

Of course I could beat the lot of you if wasn't for my lack of funds and nerve............and possibly skill :)

See you there guys, and don't forget to fill in those photo forms!

Josh

Docjock has kindly invited me along again as a passenger. However he is a popular guy and will be giving several rides.I would be very grateful for any other offers.I won't fart in the car (only in the pits and I will do it quietly in the corner),I will only light a fag up when on the straights,I won't tell anyone if you shut your eyes going around a corner and I've got me own lid.And I will only turn the stereo up when you have 2 hands on the wheel so as to not distract you. Thanks.

ian_sadler 28 November 2001 01:26 PM

Hi L,

If I make it you are more then welcome to borrow my Goldfish Bowl (As long a you don't have flees though) ;)

Ian

lpitt 28 November 2001 01:29 PM

Thanks Ian that's appreciated and no, I'm recently sprayed so no fleas at the moment ;)

Look out for me.

Laurence

DavidLewis 28 November 2001 02:47 PM

Rides available (just dont sue me ;))
Also spare helmet available (Big Ba$tard Large) but priority use for any passengers stupid enough to come out with me.

Try DJ first, then see how quick a red 5 dr can REALLY go ;);)

jimi 28 November 2001 03:09 PM

Stef 28 November 2001 03:58 PM

Due to illness at SIDC HQ packs were not sent out for this event and I've only just found out. :(
Please note that the briefing is at 8am and track time begins at 8.30am. Bedford are the only circuit I know of who start earlier to maximise our track time so fair play to them.
For directions goto http://www.bedford-autodrome.co.uk .
See you there.

Stef.
PS I'll be there in CK1. :)

NM 28 November 2001 04:52 PM

It would be rude not to pop down and have a look at all the action.

Dave it would be good to catch a ride again after Donington.

Cheers

Neal :)

dba 28 November 2001 05:13 PM

cheers Dave,appreciate it. :D

Scoobychick 28 November 2001 06:47 PM

Me and Chris will be there speccying (as usual  ) :D

Sal.

Kunz 29 November 2001 08:11 AM

I would defeninatly be interested in popping down to see what's
occuring, I presume spectators are allowed? It would be nice to
meet the faces behind the user names..

DavidBrown 29 November 2001 08:52 AM

I'll be there in the R34 Skyline, but only to spectate.

Two track days in a week would be excessive.

ARRON BIRD 29 November 2001 09:14 AM

Me and me old mate Steve will be there just watchin and tekkin the pi55 as usual;)

Kunz 29 November 2001 02:59 PM

Help!!

Blow Dog 29 November 2001 03:23 PM

Ill be there in the Skyline too.
Whats the weather meant to be like?

simon_prickett 29 November 2001 03:48 PM

DavidLewis... book a ride with me sometime, and see how fast a red 5 door can go :) Seriously, shame I couldn't bring my car to this, 3 red 5 doors on track would have been a great picture.

I look forward to seeing you all there,

Simon.

slippyr4 29 November 2001 04:38 PM

everyone note to be careful on the A6 around clapham (just south of autodrome.) they've only just dropped the speed limit and there's frequently boys in blue standing about with hairdryer!

ian_sadler 30 November 2001 10:19 AM

Not me.

I've still got this bl00dy cold and don't want to fill my crash helmet with snot :(

Damn, was looking forward to that as well.

Ian

ian_sadler 30 November 2001 04:19 PM

So who went then.

Did it rain?

Ian
with a snotty nose :(

Rikki 95WRX 30 November 2001 05:59 PM

I did. It only drizzled for a little while - pretty chilly.

Good fun and a couple of incidents with some well known faces of this board. I'll leave it at that.

I was only spectating though - can't wait to get out there.
