Holidays in May

After a week in Gran Canaria i am in need of another holiday....felt the depression hit me as soon as we landed back at Gatwick!!!!

Am looking at going away in May, but not too sure where to go.
Was thinking of going back to Gran Canaria but have been 4 times now, so was considering somewhere different.

Need somewhere hot, lots of sun, and near a beach would be good.

Don't want to spend too much as will be going away on a big holiday towards the end of the year.

Would Gran Canaria be my best bet, or somewhere like Cyprus???

gotta be careful later in the year as it is the wet season (dries within about 30 mins though due to the temperature) however you can also get the high winds, tornados etc.

Oh, i might have been told wrong information. I was told that November/December is the best time to go there.
Might have another look at the Mexico prices in May then :thumb:

Egypt (Red Sea area) is great if you're just looking for a beach-type holiday (and fab if you're a fan of snorkeling or diving). Very hot then too.

Went to tennerife after going to Gran canaria twice was a bit disappointing. If you liked Gran canaria you will love Cyprus. 2 weeks of drinking, jet skiing and some extremely dodgy inflatables strapped to the back of a speed boat it was the best holiday Ive been on so far:D You can also fly to Egypt for around £150 to see the pyramids, was going to go but a bout of the ****s put a stop to that little excursion:)

You want to go to Mombassa, Kenya! Contact me for any info.

yes cyprus is great aswell thats where i got married in paphos before going to jamaica:) the egypt cruise is good but a liitle bit rushed off the boat when i went you could actually go into one of the great pyramids! and see tutankhamun's mask and stuff at the cairo museum.

Went here last May
Sovereign – Travel with Sovereign Premium Holidays

Absolutely stunning hotel, staff were amazing (plus no kids allowed). Weather was sunny for 2 weeks, started in mid 80s by the end of the 2 weeks was in the 90s

Bit of night life and the Paragliding from the overlooking mountains is something you must try

Cheers
