... Im stuck between an early sti, a 97 onwards wrx or an evo 4. Ive had my 95 wrx for 18 months now and looking for a change. Does anyone know how much more it would cost to run the sti and the evo over the wrx.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would be carefull with evo 4's, if im correct,some of them develop a fault called "crank walk" this is where the crank knocks out the bearing byside play.

yes the evo 4 does suffer with " crank walk" and it cost a mate of mine a lot of money for a car that he only had for 7 months.

so stay away from the evo 4 m8
