Looking good mate, ive put a few carbon bits on my ra lately :)
I went for the smaller carbon bonnet scoob though Did you get the carbon stuff from scoobyworld ? James |
RA's RULE!
Proud owner of a MY95 STI type RA, no car like it! |
i got the carbon bits from scoobyparts they are local to me and i know the lads that run it so i get a good discount. The rear spoiler is also carbon but with the sides and base painted white (evo style), im after a carbon chin spoiler to cover the bottom part of the fmic but cant find anyone that does them under £450? also i have some carbon mud flaps on order:luxhello:

Stunning car you have there :thumb:
What make are the front brakes they look massive :notworthy Spot on with the wheel colour as well for a white car :thumb: |
Nice, don't see many V4 STi RA's. ;)
|
The brakes are porsche 6 pots (brembos) with AP 355mm discs, had to space the wheels to fit the calipers, so then had to space the back ones aswell to match a right bugger to fit but make your eyes bleed when you want to stop quick!!:eek2:

Get those pics on here Type-RA.co.uk mate!

Wow, what a great looking car! Well played.

Nice car, are you running the the original 2.0l and close ratio box. As with fitting the 20g on a two litre there quite laggy and you would be better off with a roller bearing Vf 34 turbo for better spool up. As for injectors I'm not aware of a 650cc side feed injectors made for your perticular fuel rail as there are top feeds. 550cc injectors with a adjustable fuel pressure regulator and uprated fuel pump would be a better option.:thumb: |
nice car m8
|
Lovely car spoilt by the silly scoops on the front.. put the OE ones back on. they look loads better.
Ther than that its a stunner :D |
Nah! i like em not only for looks but practical aswell the big scoop will be going now anyway as i am now running a front mount so will be replacing it with a RCM carbon reverse one

My 20g is not laggy at all, just keep it above 4500 and you will make use of those brakes...
2 litre 20g and a few suspension bits on my hillclimber: DropShots Day Who was the old hillclimber? |
That thing must do an endo when you brake!
|

Thanks to everyone for positive comments:luxhello:

Love it! :thumb: But I may be a tad biased owning a scarily similar beasty (95 sti type ra, 20k on the clock) even have the carbon spoiler on its way and Im painting the sides white too :Suspiciou Whats the rest of your spec? Going for the 18G/550's though when I can, only aiming for ~380bhp and I think the 20G will be a bit too laggy?
|
Stunning RA mate. Very nice.
Not sure on the STi8 scoop, looks a tad outof place, but as you say, you have a FMIC fitted, perhaps not refit a black painted oem scoop? |
Fantastic looking scoob...:thumb:
|
Marshy;
This is my hillclimber, 20g and all that with a real 380 bhp not estimated. Lag? No, just keep it on the boil, ie over 4500 and she will be ballistic. With the right support bits, what a turbo, big and gutsy on a 2 litre. DropShots Day DropShots Day Graham :D |
