Really has got to go this time

Have been trying to get it sorted out so i can keep the scooby and we thought that we'd worked it out. But the wife's work (so called largest insurance company in the UK - aren't quoting us happy!!) are being pathetic about her maternity policy. So, the scooby is the obvious way around things now, well at least for a while. Plus it's only a car and i can always get another one. The good start in life for my son i can't.

So here we have my Impreza for sale:
  • 1994 Impreza WRX,
  • Silver,
  • Tax,
  • 12 months MOT,
  • Cat 1 alarm,
  • OE optional extra gauges above stereo,
  • Sound deadening in boot,
  • 4 pot brake upgrade,
  • Recent drilled and grooved front discs,
  • Recent rear discs,
  • Recent yellow stuff pads all round,
  • Braided brake lines all round,
  • Hayward and Scott exhaust,
  • 17" replica prodrive alloys with Toyo proxes all round with loads of tread left,
  • Green cotton panel filter,
  • Mini scoop,
  • Rally style mud flaps,
  • Jun style front splitter,
  • Receipts and documents folder.
  • No test pilots, scammers or canvassers.
  • Genuine reason for sale.
  • £4750.00
Also have the decat downpipe and equal length headers to go with the car if sold at the right price. If not they'll be sold seperately. The dp and headers will stay on the car until sold and will only be for sale afterwards.

I thought that i'd offer the ESC guys 'n' gals first refusal as i know it'd be going to a good home then. Or if any of you would care to babysit 3 days per week for tea / coffee and biscuits then that would be most appreciative.

Not good news Matt but as you say it is only a car, and probably only a temporary set back. Sure you'll be back in the fold before you know it.

114000 km before importing and then i've done 16k miles since i bought it about 2 years ago. so just over 87k altogether.

have a 2001 bugeye intercooler to go on, new plugs to go in and dawes device that could go on to.

is the price a bit steep? seen some advertised for more though.

£10.00 if in green, but silver.......(the fastest colour - just ask Baz and Co).

Good luck with the sale, hope it gets looked after as you have.

Cheers Dazza. silver is the fastest colour ;)

Just debating what to get if it sells.

WRX_Dazza 06 December 2006 03:39 PM

unfortunately Matt, this is a hard one.

due to age etc, prob looking shy of 4K, however, there are plenty of people about with money to burn and will snap your arm of for it.

sit tight and weigh up if its worth selling.

i paid a lot of money for my car, but i'm not going to sell it as its exactly what i need.

hopefully you'll either, get the money you want, or manage somehow to keep her.

tough call, but harsh truth as well.

good luck

Dazza

the price can always come down. i have a figure in mind that i won't go below. would prefer to keep it but at the moment it'd make sense to sell and get another one in the future. hence i'll hang onto the parts if i don't get the price i want.

so people make me a sensible offer.

btw it's gone on the dreaded flea bay now.

V4JDMSTi 11 December 2006 02:05 PM

maybe going. even as early as this weekend. not definite yet though. but if it does go, it's going to someone in essex.
