Anyone know Bristol town centre?

I'm going to be working there for the next few months, Is there a decent safe car park anywhere near Temple St?

We work there quite a bit and though we have no problem parking due to the job we do we are advised by the locals to keep our vans locked at all times due to local scum thieving from vehicles.

Car parks may be secure though I dont know.

There is no town centre in Bristol, by merit of the fact it's a city.

I have in the past parked in the carpark up near the ice rink with no problems (don't know what it's called technically, but you can get at it from Trenchard Street). Have never been a regular parker in Bristol though, so perhaps I've just been lucky!

Most places in Bristol City Centre will be perfectly safe and secure. It's a nice City in general, there are some horrendous areas like anywhere.

It is a busy city and as such there are many secure places to park. Temple St is an area of general rejuvenation with many business (few offices, call centre type thing and lots of development) starting to move to that area.

I wouldn't leave my car on the street there overnight necessarily, but in a car park it'll be fine (no legal gaurantees offered!!!!)..... The city centre is quite small, so you could easily walk to the car parks near the Gallery shopping centre and Fairfax st, or Temple Meads Rail Station. I haven't been down there in a while, but there will also be carparks on Victoria St and Redcliffe and Temple Way.

That is criminal, that's almost London prices!!! The only parking you pay for in Texas is at the airport, $1 for the first three hours! Major international airport too, try getting three hours at Heathrow for less than twenty quid!!! :nono:
