Sounds like 'Suedehead by Morrissey. It was written by Morrissey and Johnny Marr though.

Dave; the song listed on lyrics sites as "Im So Sorry" by The Smiths, is actually 'Suedehead' by Morrissey. Perhaps it was released as a Smiths song in some countries? It was Morrisey's first single after the Smiths split.
