Gear Head 02 December 2006 06:32 PM

You sure the torque isn't in NM?

That's rather high isn't it

A Type-25 "only" has 420 lbft of torque, so your figure does appear high.

Any change of posting a copy of the RR graph please?

Car looks nice btw. :)

scoobydooooo 02 December 2006 07:23 PM

he's talking about torch not torque :)

Gear Head 02 December 2006 07:24 PM

Especially without a de-cat. Nice car though m8.
I take it that not having a warrenty anymore doesn't worry you?

Lee

jakeob 02 December 2006 07:56 PM

Well it seems its not only the type 25 that has this kind of torque,,,, now mine has ...and who said it didnt have a decat???

my cannon ixus wont photo the text on the dyno sheet,,,so tomorrow i am going to pc world for a scanner and then i will post the sheet for all to see,,

or just ring pete or claire at prosport.

Scooby-doo97 02 December 2006 08:36 PM

I need to get myself a 'Harwood and Scott exhaust' and want more 'torch' from my car :thumb:

You did.
You said 'Hayward and scott exhaust'.
Not 'system'.

pippyrips 02 December 2006 09:19 PM

mr incredible 02 December 2006 09:37 PM

that car looks stunning mate:cool:
Mark.

imprezarb5 02 December 2006 09:45 PM

looks good mate, wheels and front splitter really set it off

Aly Mac 02 December 2006 10:25 PM

Lovely looking car mate, the wheels work well

jakeob 02 December 2006 11:10 PM

To be honest i am not so sure about the handling yet, in comparison to my 02 sti this is abit tame, the steering is abit to light, and in general it doesnt feel as planted as the old car on 18" rims. Maybe it needs new shocks but i am spent up this month.

COLZO 02 December 2006 11:43 PM

Looks good mate. :thumb:

scooby1979 03 December 2006 12:49 AM

LUSH :D

cw42 03 December 2006 09:12 AM

Not a big fan of silver and blue, but nice car :) Don't believe the figures quoted for the mods though, no way you're getting over 400lbft of torque with just an exhaust on a uk sti, even on Pete's rollers! :D

Meeting next week for the smacs if you're interested in coming along:https://www.scoobynet.com/northern-2...-december.html
Hope to see you there :thumb:

jakeob 03 December 2006 09:38 AM

Will anybody believe me even if i show the print out????? off to pc world soon for a scanner

Anyway the pink sti stickers are going today, any idea where to get white stickers from,,,

Luckyscoob 03 December 2006 09:47 AM
