Travelling to Euro Disney
I'll be taking the family to Euro Disney in May and while booking the hotel and park tickets etc was straight forward enough the travel arrangements are not so simple.
The best options either seem to be Air France to Charles De Gaule and a shuttle to the park or Ryan Air to Beauvais for a £400 saving (party of 5 btw). Sounds good but with a load of luggage, a couple of toddlers in tow and no easy option to get from the airport to the park I'm not sure if it's the best option. Has anyone done both and can recommend one over the other or offer an alternative? Cheers |
We went on Eurostar. I think we had to change at Lille but I'm sure you can also get there from Gard du Nord in Paris.
Ah - just realised you're in Glasgow - that might make it more difficult. |
Flew in to Charles De Gaule with easy jet, then the shuttle coach (not cheap !!) takes a while (just to get out of the airport !!!) but no hastle.
Drove down a couple of times, piece of cake. fancied the train direct but also i think you can go directly from CDG into the park, then you could get on the free busses to the hotels but it all depends which hotel you are in ?? |
Or before you fly to Beauvais, google the airport services and come up with this as an alternative.
Beauvais airport shuttle service, transfer from Paris & Roissy Charles de Gaulle - Beauvais private Shuttle service |

Cheers guys, lots of good ideas.
Any other opinions? |
which hotel ?
|
the bus is something like 17 euros each IIRC.
disneyland paris aint cheap, i.e. 8-10euros a pint depending on where in the village you drink. |
There is a Disney Express train that takes you directly in to the centre of the park from Waterloo.
I'd try and get to Heathrow/Luton first, and then go to Waterloo. Train takes about 2.5 hours from with just one stop, and your bags get taken straight to the hotel, leaving you time to play as soon as you get off the train. I've also had the pleasure to travell from Gard du Nord to Euro disney with luggage and kids and it's not much fun! |
