Help The Seadogs

Online Petition - Save Scarborough Football Club
I would be very grateful if you could spare a minute to sign this petition. Basically we need the local council to lift the covenant on the ground in order for us to survive.
Thankyou.
Anthony

First club to win the then new Conference. Don't let them die!

Alcazar

Bug Eyed Peas 02 December 2006 04:21 PM

And the first club to be automatically promoted to the Football League.
The CVA was held in Leeds yesterday, and they have given us 6 weeks grace. That is also near to the date of the local council meeting. So, tenterhooks for the next few weeks. :brickwall

The council have agreed in principle to lift the covenant. A final decision will be made on the 8th January 2007.
Anthony.

I`ll post more details as soon as I get them.

Bug Eyed Peas 19 December 2006 03:18 PM

Further decision to be made on 8th January.

The Cabinet of Scarborough Borough Council, meeting in the Town Hall today, gave a qualified approval to Boro’s future plans.

The Cabinet agreed in principle to the transferral of the covenant from the McCain Stadium to the new stadium, but remained unhappy about certain details. The issue now goes in front of a full meeting of Scarborough Borough Council on 8th January 2007.

Why would I be a York fan? 'Cos I dissed your ground:D ?

I'll diss any club for a laugh, but don't like to see little clubs go to the wall, while the bigger ones are allowed to do as they please.

Alcazar

davegtt 09 January 2007 12:08 PM

Agreed, especially when the likes of BBC and Sky give FACup money to Man United, Villa, Liverpool, Arsenal etc when you can watch them games at least twice a year anyway and the little clubs could do with the telly money

I guess you have all heard it on the news about our plight. The creditors have had enough and are serving a winding up order. So we have three more games left, then that could be the end.
I`ve followed this club for over 30 years

Anthony

davegtt 13 April 2007 02:19 PM

It will be a great shame if you do go to the wall. How can I look back on a the double hat trick Frankie Bunn served up to you if you dont exsist.

On a serious note I really hope someone steps forward and helps you out. :(
