Ok, bit of background info. as some may be aware I'm considering big brakes,
but don't really want to change from my 16 inch wheels. I've been talking to
a few people and they mentioned the Movit porsche kit, and it sounds nice.
I've contacted Richard Jeal @ jas traction and had a nice email chat with
him and he assures me they'll do a kit to fit. only thing is i'll need to
have 10mm spacers, now, this raises the question of stud bolt lenght on the
fronts, will the bolts be long enough to cope with the 10mm spacer and the
width of the new 'hat' for the discs?

so, anyone know the length of the stud bolts on a MY94 WRX Wagon? I really
don't fancy taking a wheel off to find out.

Markus, I dont know the stud length, but if it is a problem, get some Group N studs. They are longer, and available from your local dealer.

I think you'll find that if you fit 10mm spacers, you won't have anything left to put a nut on, let alone enough!
Anything more than a few mm of spacer is tooooo much!

Danny,
don't think my local dealer will sell em to me as I have an import. any idea what other places I could get them from?

Also the wheel will no longer locate on the hub carrier. This means that you will get vibration as the wheel will not be centered properly and its dangerous because all loads are passed through the wheel studs rather than the hub carrier....I know, been there.....

Ok, think this might not be a problem as I'm now leaning towards the AP racing 4-pot kit. which was at the top of my list before I read about the movit kit. providing the AP kit will fit under my 16 inch wheels (not the standard subaru ones though) without spacers then I'll go for the AP kit, maybe ;)

Markus,

Just fitted AP 4-pots with 304mm disks. Loads of room with the standard 00MY 6-spoke 16inch, even more under the Superleggara (17inch!!)

James,
thanks for that, hopefully my wheels:

will have enough space as well.
