Back from Power Engineering

Went with Kent Scoobies on the rolling road, happy with results,

355bhp /323 .

No complains there. A well mapped car i'd say. Another thumb up for Paul @ Zen performance.

Id be interested as to your mods mate?

AllenJ 27 November 2006 02:51 PM

I was only expecting 320-330 tops. After Paul mapped the car, he did say depending on where i go, the BHP could be up to 340. I need more torque now.

Mods: Nothing major to be honest

H&S full decat system, from Downpipe to backbox
Walbro Fuel Pump
Zero Sports N1 Performance Panel filter
Zero sports air Intake Pipe
Zero Sports Cool Thermo
Zero Sports Radiator
Zero Sports Cool Action
Mapped by Zen performance

Thats it for engine mods.

Really nice figure mate ............. WOW :notworthy :notworthy

What year \ model is your scooby??

Really need to get mine mapped :norty:

frayz 27 November 2006 07:03 PM

Id be interested to see it on another set of rollers as PE's ones are more of a dreamo than a dyno lol.

Theres no way you'd get that figure with your mods and on the stock turbo.. it simply wouldnt flow the air required.

As long as youre happy with it and it feels good on the road thats all that matters although IMO they are very questionable set of figures.

Keep us updated with future mods mate :D

Frayz :D

i was there and thought a lot of the results were quite high
seems everyone is running 325 plus these days
have to say though my worst result has been on PE rollers
i know i know
different day

budgie;)

Tomski_908 27 November 2006 07:28 PM

The thing is NO rollers are 100% right :( The only way to get that is hook the car up to one of them hub things!!

As previously stated, I was very suprised as i was expecting 330 tops. To me, I couldn't careless what the rollers produce, all i know is, it's been a different driving experience since it's been mapped and no more engine mods i'm afraid, i'd rather buy the T25 if more power is required. :)

BTW: WRC-Tech achieves 350bhp on stock turbo.

BTW: WRC-Tech's dyno will produce whatever figures they want it to lol

Glad youre happy with it :D

Not true, they read just the same as most other dynos (within 5 in my experience) and believe me ive been to a fair few.
