Problem with my water works......

Plumbing help required

I need to move a radiator in my drawing room.... err ok lounge :norty:

Basically i need to move it 2 metres along the wall from where it is......

I'm happy turning the water off and bleeding the rad  and should be able to undo the pipes, take the rad off the wall and remount it BUT.....

I'm gonna be rubbish at extending the existing pipes ...

So anyone fancy helping out in exchange for a free lunch?

I did mine myself, but would not want to do it for someone else ...... As I am not a plumber .

Shouldn't be too hard, especially if you use the push fit fittings ... But then what do I know ;)

So do they do push fit connectors now? If so I'll do it myself? :wonder:

Cheers

I would cut the (presumably copper pipe ?) in the straight section, get a push fit connector (making sure to remove any paint/debris from the pipe) , and slip in an extension piece of pipe with push fits either end .

Thats me though :)
