Just wondered if you're a user of this bbs, if you're local maybe you could come to the dec meet.
I was in my dbm my00 with gold wheels, I hoofed it off the roundabout thinking you were coming my way, but you didn't.

Sorry to disapoint Duncan, but it weren't me!
There is/was a guy living on canford heath with a my99 who used to frequent this board, but I haven't heard from him for a while.
How are the brakes bedding in?
Ron

Edited due to Allan and me posting at the same time.
I don't think it was you Allan, this was at the corfe mullen end of the bypass, so unless you go a real odd way to get to tuckton, it wasn't you. I think it was a light blue.

Hey, some vaguely local peeps on the board!

I've not had an account here that long, and I don't even own a Scooby yet but I've driven several (including a track-day-treat for myself) and am getting one (used) after Xmas as soon as I find the right car. Thought I'd make myself heard, and wonder if there are any meets in this neck of the woods at all soon? I'd like to see a few more for research purposes and maybe even get a ride if anyone's generous enough, for more experience/know what else to look out for in them.

Joined the SIDC already seeing as how membership runs from September and didn't want to lose out joining in Jan/Feb.

NOTE: they're changing this now, so it'll run for a year from when you join.

Can't have been me as I was in the Pub.

Here's a long shot for you Bournemouth/Poole lot:
I'm considering doing a day at the Bill Gwynne Rally school in Jan/Feb. It's £350 in a Group N Impreza, (£££'s Not good at that time of year I know but then it's a birthday prezzie to myself). Just wondered if there are 1 or 2 others that might be interested in doing the same around that time???

Check out their website if you're interested.

Hmmm, tempting.
Any thoughts about the day at Prodrive that was mentioned at similar cost.
Would be interested in knowing what the Differences are...

timbo2000 28 November 2001 01:17 PM

Gravel and not fully booked.

Prodrive does sound interesting though, one for the future perhaps.

Tim.
