Boot Release Lever Not Working - Advice??
 

Hi,

The boot release lever has stopped working in my 03 WRX. It was working fine but now when I lift the handle, there is no resistance and the boot doesn't open.

Can anyone suggest where I should look to diagnose and fix the problem??

Not sure if teh MY03 has it, but there is a lever on the boot lock itself that disables the remote release lever. Its quite easy to knock in advertantly. Just flick it back and it works.

Nice one - I will look in my boot lid and familiarise myself just in case it ever happens to me.
