Anyone got Netgear Rangemax running at 270Mbps
 

I just this week got the new Netgear Rangemax WNR834B wireless router and WN311B PCI adaptor.

I can't get a wireless connection using the full 270Mbps capability :mad:

Just rung the tech support line (in India...) and was told to run it in 54Mbps mode and that it will really be running in 270.

What a bunch of ar5e! :rolleyes: Was told only on some PC's does it actually show as running 270Mbps, have updated firmware and drivers.

Has anyone else managed to get this working reliably? - checked Google and it seems I'm not alone in having problems with these.

Seems I just upgraded my wireless LAN from a Linksys 54Mbps to a Netgear 54Mpbs one :mad:
