Group buy on HKS 3" (cat back) Hiper409 exhausts.

I did start a group buy for these systems a few days ago but due to having to go away for work I had to delete it before it got going, apologies for that.

Ok, I am getting one of these systems for my car and have spoken to Milsport who are willing to do a group buy on these systems.

The complete system for a GC8 (classic) will be:
5+ 377.00 inc VAT and delivery
10+ 360.00 inc VAT and delivery

The complete system for a GDB (new age) will be:
5+ 432.00 inc VAT and delivery
10+ 413.00 inc VAT and delivery

Please note that the GDB system will fit directly onto an Import GDB but if your car is a UK spec car then you will need an HKS front pipe as well (or any other aftermarket front pipe will do providing it will mate up to a 3" system).

The price of the front pipe for those who want it will be 135.00 inc VAT and delivery.

The above discounts can only be applied when the required numbers are reached so in the case of 6-9 being wanted the 5+ price will apply.

I will try and answer any questions you may have but am not always in front of the computer so please be patient, in the mean time please add your name to the list if you are interested along with car model and if you require the front pipe or not.

Payment will be made direct to Milsport (if the numbers are reached) who can take card payments over the phone on everything except ELECTRON.
Cheques will take 5 working days to clear and sorry NO PAYPAL.

I could be interested in the system for my classic.

How much of a "system" is the system,i.e.does it include centre decat,and/or a front decat?

What would the noise level be like 1 - 10?

Im sure its just the centre section and back box and then the down pipe is extra. This is the one I put on my car but I thought it was called the Hi Power 409 rather then Hyper 409 :wonder:

It comes with a bung that looks dreadfull IMO and when I was looking at the bore I thought this is going to be stupid loud but its great, Not restrictive at all at the backbox and sounds very well without being silly loud. Which was perfect for me.

I dident think much of the HKS Downpipe that I saw ( could be different or new ones out now ) because the neck seemed quite narrow so id prefer the open neck ones but that was just me there prob just as good as the rest. Ive a 3inch twin dump BPM down pipe now and that does the job.

On a classic the "system" would be cat back, ie, from the end of the down pipe backwards.
If you want a total decat you are not limited to the HKS downpipe but any one you like at a different cost to that quoted in the GB.. A wide neck is best for outright power. On a noise level they are probably about 7-8 with a Blitz being 10+, nice subtle burble :) which will not wake the dead but be loud enough to leave everyone aware that a Scoob is coming/going.

Not sure about the comments on the bung as nobody leaves them in anyway.

Renno Rannes,
they used to be called the Hi Power but became Hyper 409 about 6 months ago.

Ah right that explains it so :thumb:

These arent that loud but on other exhausts that are louder like my old BPM the bung can be very handy to have.

I know xmas is coming and money might be beginning to get tight, (it always is when these cars have an appetite for juice the way they do) but this really is a good offer by Milsport, just check out the advertised prices and then add on the P&P and you will see exactly what you are saving.

BTTT,
As you can see there are some glowing reports about quality and sound so lets have some interested people putting their names down.
