Loving things so far, except the damn run flats - they'll be getting changed!

Very nice mate.
Is it the 3.0 litre?

ScoobyJawa 12 November 2006 05:38 PM

Sure is - really weird though, had turbos the last 6 years and a linear power delivery is very strange after turbo shove LOL! Doesn't feel as quick but when you look down at the speedo you see it is! :)

Sounds like a good excuse to wear out the rears quickly then :norty:

Tidgy 16 November 2006 02:41 PM

next thng you know he's gonna start pulling out on people, if he hasn't already started,, pmsl

AudiLover 16 November 2006 02:43 PM

Have you done the anti indicator mod yet lol?

GrahamG 16 November 2006 03:04 PM

I like it, but think i would of gone for the boxter.

Bat-Fink 16 November 2006 03:15 PM

Very nice car IMO.

Bit of class on here which makes a change.

ScoobyJawa 16 November 2006 03:20 PM

Petem95 - :) As for the rears, they are the most worn, its got nearly new fronts on, but I can see what you suggest happening ;)

Tidgy - lol, I've actually let more people out than ever since getting it!!! Maybe I'm trying to hard to keep out of the stereotype! :D

Audi - nope :p I've always used my indicators and always will, I was just lucky the original owner spec'd it with that option ;)

Graham - The Boxster did appeal - a lot - but I just couldn't overlook how much more spec you were getting on a newer car with less mileage, for almost as good a drive.

Bat-Fink - :D

Of all the modern Beemers - I think the Z4 is the most successful. Very nice car. I would seriously consider one myself (I would agree that the bloody awful run flats have to go though).

v5 man 17 November 2006 03:49 PM

I hired a Z4 2.2L (I think!!!)auto, for the day, as an anniversary present for my wife who loves them to bits.
I was surprised at the fact I quite liked it, I was also pleasantly surprised by the big car feel too.
Still managed to get the rear out on it and control it quite nicely round a roundabout :D
