I'm always reading small thank you threads for peeps who have helped each other out (thats what friends are for!!) So here is mine...

I'd like to say a HUGE thanks to my Dad!! I was driving around yesterday afternoon, when all of a sudden my car started making a horrible, ear pearcing screeching noise :confused: !! At first I thought it was from the engine, but then when I stopped, the noise stopped :wonder: ...must be from the wheels. Then thought, what if a caliper has got caught/seized or something :eek: , but braking seemed fine.
Drove round to my parents, and in a worried voice, called to my dad, who listened to the noise for me. Jacked up my car, took the wheel off (bear in mind, this was about 4pm, so light was poor!), had a look round, and pulled out a small stone chipping, no bigger than 5p! It was wedged between the brake disc and hub area :eek: . Put wheel back on, drove it up the road, and not a sound :luxhello: !!

My Dad is my hero :luvlove: :notworthy !! Thank you for fixing the problem :thumb: !!!!

Can you adopt me? It's always me that has to help my Dad out.......
