HKS SSQV NOISE PROBLEM!
Can you help?? The problem is it does'nt make a noise!:(
Have stripped it down and all looks ok , the diagphram is not split and nothing is leaking , can anyone shed some light? Any suggestions would be great. thankyou Dan:wonder: |

Speak to Karl at crossroads Subaru, they are HKS dealers, he should sort you out tell him I told you to call him!!

PS there is nothing wrong with the noise, I'm just glad I can turn mine on and off at will!!

Have dismantled the valve and nothing is sticking ,not much to them really this is why i cant understand why its not working! will put a new diagphram in and if that does'nt work i just dunno!:confused:

Earlier HKS SQV valves have a spring pressure adjuster at back of valve. I believe its a 10mm bolt which you can turn to adjust pressure levels for the piston.
You also need to see if car feels just a powerfull. If there is a large drop in power then you could have boost leak somwehere. Have Fun once you get it sorted! ASHYV |
Sounds a bit of a no-brainer but have you checked the vacuum connection that runs from the top of the DV into the manifold? My HKS SSQV stopped making noise one night and upon inspecting it in the daylight the following morning it was a simple case of reconnecting the pipes and being on my way :D
