Thanks people, getting very nervous now, stupid really as it's only a small op to remove whats left of a wisdom tooth, but I've never been knocked out before and it bothers me!!

had most of the work done, including root canal tratment, but they ddn't take the wisdom tooth out, instead they put me on a course of antibiotics, and if the tooth is still playing up, then I'll have to go to hospital for an over nighter to have it taken out as the surgeon has to cut into the jaw bone.

I layed down in the chair, and the anaestatist strapped my arm to get a vein, but couldn't find one, when he did eventually inject me, the dentist said what she was going to do so I said about the wisdom tooth, and she said that it needs a surgeon, then I don't remember a thing, next thing I know, I woke up looked around and thought "where the hell am I?", I was in my OH's bed, just don't remember getting there either!!
