My boost gauge has got the jitters!
As in the title - fitted a 'Whoosh' boost gauge over the weekend. When boost rises to around 0.5bar the needle flutters/vibrates and makes an audible sound!
I am a tw@t when it comes to fitting anything on my car - what have I done wrong. Perhaps you could also tell me how I get the gauge to regeister '0' when the car is turned off! Thanks |
mine does that just rattles a bit on full boost
what make is it mate? mines a dynamix one |
Thanks mate - I think it is actually made by 'Whooosh'?!?

you may have fitted the T piece (if used) the wrong way round. The restrictor must go in line to the gauge. Alternately you need to restrict the hose diameter in line to the gauge or it will break. Typical method would be to fit a valve and throttle it in or a restrictor in the hose perhaps made from a ballpoint pen refill.
