Prodrive 2 - Convoy Thread
 

The tour is scheduled to start at 5pm and lasts until 7pm. However, on the Prodrive 1 trip we were still being shown around gone 8pm :thumb:

The plan is to meet at Lakeside services at 12-45 and leave at 1pm sharp. You will then take the north route of the M25 and then turn off to the M40.

You will no doubt get caught in some traffic along the way but at that time it shouldn't be so bad. On Prodrive 1 we drove along at 55-60mph the whole way and still arrived an hour early. This left us plenty of time to stop and grab a burger at the services before the Prodrive junction..... it also gave Adidas time to clean the ketchup off his shirt :lol1:

On the return journey you head South on the M25 and take in the dartford tunnel. Stop at lakeside for a wee break and then head home.

Can you all confirm that this is ok. MOST IMPORTANTLY subscribe to this thread so that you are aware of any change in timings....

Hi guys, just a quickie from the :cuckoo: coming all the way up from Dover.

To keep things simple (as I'll be going clockwise on the M25, then joining the M40) I will join up with Wimpy at the Oxford services. :thumb:

I'm guessing you lot will be joining the M40 at around 2pm/2.30pm if you're leaving Lakeside at 1pm. So that'll give me a rough idea of times.

Also, I've finally been given a date of Friday 17th for an operation I've been waiting for, so if I'm not there waiting to join up, it's not gone to plan so continue without me. :mad:
I'm hoping to be bolted back together and discharged in time to be able to drive up for this tour. I'm f*cked if I'm going to miss out on this..lol!!! :norty:
