ouch, fast and small cars are a bad idea without a roll cage, and that shows y.

TopBanana 03 November 2006 03:16 PM

Christ that's scary.

Graz 03 November 2006 03:18 PM

Another project for you then perhaps :wonder:

Oh well keep looking, sure you'll find a minter eventually :)

Andy M3 03 November 2006 03:22 PM

Shame mate, looked nice. Are the S2 any better in the event of an accident?

BOB.T 03 November 2006 03:36 PM

A mate of mine did the same to a 309 and a 306, they were both black too :Suspiciou

Blueblaster 11 November 2006 10:30 PM

Rolling one car is stupid. Rolling two deserves a lengthy custodial sentence:nono: . BlOOdy idiot, I hope he hurt himself and not anyone else.

So the Clio with a high NCAP rating needs a cage?

Andy

any good on that rally you were looking at

EvoBarry 12 November 2006 08:22 PM

Fuzz - whilst I realise you want a black one I do know of a white one that could well be available if you change your mind. Mate of mine has one, he's got an E30 M3 now so he doesn't need to keep it. He's had it a while, can't bear to sell it imo ;)

Fuzz 12 November 2006 09:21 PM

No good botsy, Paintwork too much grief to put right.
I need it fairly complete. No tax, no test, bits in his garage to finish the job.

Bloody good price though, nearly bought it but then came to my senses.
I already have 3 project vehicles to work on, the rallye is supposed to become an everyday car, not yet another project.
Bit my lip and walked away. :(

Another one has just popped up on rallye register so sent that guy a PM but he doesn't / wont tell me what he wants for it.
and it lives near the sea side.... not looking hopeful!

Andy

Fuzz 12 November 2006 09:23 PM

Barry. thanks but the only white one I'd have would be an S2...
Going to spend a month or so on a hunt for black one first though.
Thanks anyway

bootsy 12 November 2006 10:29 PM

i've just been on 106 rallye site.i take it you've seen the other black s1 on there

Fuzz 12 November 2006 10:54 PM

yes... I am Fuzz on there too. Did you not see my post reply..

Not only as above on my last post but direct to the thread starter on 106 rallye register??

Doesn't know how much he wants for it, and I sure as hell aint making an offer without pictures or seeing it..
I don't fancy travelling down to Portsmouth / Worthing for a seaside rust bucket and not know the price!
(obviously might not be rusty but it's still a long way for me)

Andy

Shark Man 12 November 2006 11:02 PM

Oops, looks like its just shell damage so would make a cracking donor car (plenty of stock 106s about). :)

bootsy 15 November 2006 10:57 PM

fuzz have you seen the black s1 106 RALLYE REGISTER FORUM

JTaylor 16 November 2006 12:13 AM

Had an S1 in white. Brilliant fun to drive but with savage lift-off over steer that was snappy as hell in the wet. Learnt how to drive properly in that car. Span it on three seperate occasions and managed to avoid all solid objects. Hope you find one fuzz.

Fuzz 16 November 2006 07:55 PM

I have bootsy.

Got two to go look at in Liverpool at the weekend...

Andy

bootsy 11 December 2006 06:10 PM

did you get a rallye mate if not have you seen the black rallyes on there at the moment

Fuzz 11 December 2006 10:01 PM

Typical...

Not been on rallyeregister for at least a few weeks.
Gave up the search after I spending £2.5 K on a Christmas holiday..
as well as being messed around alot.
I might HAVE to buy one when I come back in the new year anyway as the current 106 dog is starting to sound a little worse for wear (gearbox sounds like it's on it's last legs.)

Andy

Fuzz 03 June 2007 03:26 PM

Sold the Impreza this week. :eek2:

never thought I'd see they day when I did that but it's gone now.

So in the market for a black rallye again now.

If you spy one on your travels, let me know. :thumb:
