Leak from above fuel pump

Filled up my car to the brim today (MY99 Turbo) and it's leaking a hell of a lot of fuel whick I have now discovered is coming from the seal around the fuel pump (uprated pump fitted a couple of weeks ago).

How can I fix this...?? Will it stop leaking as much as the fuel goes down?

Also now, when I open the petrol cap there is no 'hiss' - is this cos there is no pressure in the tank due to the leak?

Remove plate (8mm deep socket) inspect rubber gasket for misalignment or splits and refit, five minute job.
All accessed from within the boot.
It helps if you have foldable seats as this gives a bit more light and head room. :D

Several options I guess, fit a new seal, correctly position the old seal if possible, check fixing screws are tight, check new fuel pump fits correctly, or apply some suitable tube type sealer but this would not be the best option. Fuel loss should decrease as the level drops but will still slosh about as you corner and go over speed humps. I'd also be a bit wary as fuel might make it onto the hot exhaust?!
