Gotta love that color! Well... I love anything that we in the states don't get at least. :)

PeteJ 22 November 2001 01:20 AM

Thanks,

I can't believe you can't get Deep Blue Mica in the States!

Pete

Nice looking car :D

I think the UK300 spolier works better in this colour than it does on a 'proper' UK300.

Skanky 22 November 2001 02:34 PM

Hey BluScoob!

true about the shame that there is no deep mica blue or blue ridge pearl here in Canada or the States. It's the best colour. Any rumours about it for next year's model???

Jza 22 November 2001 03:57 PM

Looks very nice!

How did you source the spoiler - agreed its looks nicer in DBM. What did it cost to get it in DBM (ive got a dbm myself).

Just one thing - get the clear reflectors - the orange doesnt match the morettes!!

V V Nice!

Thanks for the compliments.

JZA,

I got the spoiler from Crossroads Main dealer in Shipston.

I was initially looking at an imported STI Metal Wing, but I thought it was a bit too much for the car.

The spoiler was £430.00
Spraying and Fitting £220.00

I'll look into the reflectors! Your're not the first to say that.

Pete

Nice Nice Car,

Agreed - the reflectors are gash, before you get the clear ones - did you see the air vent replacements instead? I think Trouser/TSL posted some piccies in the last few days...I've also got DBM MY01 with morettes, I'm intending to get vents to replace the reflectors, smoked repeaters, and smoked rear set - although no-one seems to be doing the rear set just yet - p'raps I'm going to have to ask a Nova boy where to get the exisiting rear sent painted ;)

Chris

looking good

M Hutton 24 November 2001 05:58 PM

Very nice, the UK300 spoiler does look much better in DBM!

You certainly need to drop the orange reflectors... it must have been someone's idea of a joke to stick them on the car! ;)

Very nice, though I still prefer the Green! ;)

bug-eyed wonder 24 November 2001 08:57 PM

DBM myself and would recommend smoked indicators and the carbon fibre Sti reflectors from GGR. Must just be me but the morettes just don't suit this colour as well as WR blue. Still got fugly original lamps yet, may go for UK300 units but they're a silly price. http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/Eyecrazy.gifhttp://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/Eyecrazy.gifhttp://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/Eyecrazy.gifhttp://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/Eyecrazy.gif Or keep bug-eyes!

Who does different indicators then?

How much are they?

Smoked grey ones ought to do the job.

Pete was your ppp fitted when you got it, did you have any wait at all. When did you order yours and from whom did you buy it?
Questions question questions, BTW, we should start up a blue mica/prodrive spolier club :)

M Hutton 29 November 2001 09:01 AM

Dealers can get the PPPs for you...

Mine took about four weeks all in all!

brucelee 29 November 2001 08:38 PM

I'd suggest you get the UK 300 front lip as well. The effects of the spoiler alone, cause too much lift... Its not too safe. The lip will even it out.
