FIRST WINTER OF TURBO OWNERSHIP

What should i put in it, How much, Any additives of special products to ensure my cars is 100% during our colder months.

Any advice on anything really, engine care, overall care, things you do and Religiously do when the temp plumets.

Use it cautiously but regularly, if left for a good while the battery will slowly discharge so when you come to use it starting in the cold will be a pain. Keep on top of the cleaning as much as they are frowned upon, a good going over with a jet wash to wash away the salt and crap off the roads.

As above but nothing special needed.

If your running toyo's or Eagle F1's watch yourself in Snow, they have to be the worst tyre's you can have in the snow, They just don't bite!

Treat as you would any other car. Nothing special.

It is after all a regular car, that will take the weather and abuse of everyday life in it's stride. And when you feel like caning it - it will take that too!

The main thing i want to know is what anti freeze / additives to use to fully protect it. How much does it take.

My car was put on the road 14 Oct this year so i dont know what the previous owner has in it i the way of coolant/antifree. Shall i blow its load and start fresh?

I drive like an old women in the snow anyway so i will be taking it easy.

Snow - where do you lot live, fat chance near London unfortunately :(

Depending how old it is you may find it a bit noisy in the mornings. I've got 117K on a UK97 car and it's got the standard piston slap when its started from cold.

This gets noticably worse as nights get colder, but it always goes away when fully warm.

DetCans seem to indicate there's nothing to worry about so I just make sure it's warm before playing.

Be fun if we get some snow worth talking about but have my doubts.
