ECU codes - wtf???
 

Hi all, I asked a question a while ago to see if anyone knew what code my ECU should be (MY04 STI UK PPP) so I could buy a non PPP'd one for Bob Rawle to remap.

Someone told me where to find it so I had a look, its a 6S.

So why have I managed to find this???

If mines an 04 then whats going on??? Mine does have a different sticker to that but its deffo a 6S.

Is the standard, non PPPd ECU different again :confused:

Don't know if this will help ...... but my ECU from a '97 STi V3 is a 6S. Just like the one in the Ebay link.

Not sure if this helps but you need to look at the longer number to get one with the same letter etc goes something like 2261,
