Sony PSP's on a plane...

can you use them, or will they think its some kind of bomb?

I don't want it getting permanently snaffled off me at security control :nono:

Airports have relaxed hand baggage restrictions on check ins. I think make up and liquids are still not allowed but Ipods, PSPs and the like a ok.

You will have to turn them for for taek off and landings though.

PS I always take my PSP when travelling except during the restriction in August.

Liquids bought "airside" are Ok on all flights now, even to the US.

AFAIK its ok - check with your airline to make sure, to be on the safe side:thumb:

Used mine on the plane back in August/September without any problems so shouldn't be an issue now, just make sure wireless is disabled on it. Biggest problem is the kids, my eldest had his DS with him and saw other kids with DS and before you know it they all want to be having a wireless lan party on the plane

I got one of these to give me a bit more time.....what do you reckon, does it look explosive enough?

How long does that battery last?

Chip Sengravy 17 October 2006 10:22 AM

3600mAh I think...compared to the PSP's 1800mAh. So all being fully charged should give 3 times the normal time. I doubt it though, it was about 4 quid from hong kong :D

I leave all my electrical goodies on during takeoff/landing and never crashed and burned yet:D You can even send text messages until around 4000ft, then you lose signal. its all a load of bollox imo
