service cost

i have a o4 wrx. just want to know how much a 30k service + front pads will set me back at main dealer. thanks

mikeswrx02 16 October 2006 09:03 PM

Last yr had a quote for 30k around £550 standard.
replace:-
engine oil
coolant
fuel filter
air filter
plugs
gear box oil
diff oil
and all checks.

u'll need another 150 for pads.

try a specialist instead.

thanks for that. it seems a bit steep for the work involved but im no mechanic. might go the specialist route. i heard scoobyclinic are quite good!

Sorry for the hijack, but does anyone know the likely cost of a 50K service on a 02 STi? Again, main dealer.

Cheers

I have been quoted £360 for a 04 plate WRX i wouldnt see that it would be much more, from a main dealer.

30K Service

Had my JDM STIv7 serviced at API last week £240 + Vat.

Also had there hydraulic bonnet lifters fitted £70, what an improvement over the normal bonnet stay.

I got quoted £450 at main dealer, and got it done at specialist for £365 for the 30k service on an 03 wrx.
If your in the north-west prosport are very reasonable. :)
