JohnD 13 October 2006 09:01 PM

Did that soppy pair of tw**s take that simulator as an arcade game, or would they really have driven like that on the road? Couldn't help thinking there was some prompting going on there! Then again, maybe they were stupid enough to do that, knowing what the programme was all about?

"They both drive very fast cars"

My arse! Scooby maybe... but not that utter ****e fest of an escort which that girl had.

salsa-king 13 October 2006 10:26 PM

they tell you all that..... then they tell you about a 19yr old who'd been banned from driving, took his g/friend out in an Impreza.. crashed it.. while she was dying... he took her home so he wouldn't get in trouble for driving???!!! wt?

he should be in a car in the first place let alone in a scoob at 19.

hes not a boy racer.. hes a joyriding ****... who he's still kill someone driving even in a metro!
just my opionion

Exactly! This program was just tarring everybody with the same brush. I liked the way they showed the Supra's, Sierra cossies and Celica's... and depicted them in the same genre as the other tat on there.

Did anybody else here how they said that young people can buy parts for their car, and make it much faster than it was standard. Pretty much BS, unless you are talking about those old enough to both afford to buy and insure a propper car. Not going to get much BHP increase in most of the ****e driving around like the Punto's, Corsa's etc...

Anyway.. be prepared for more random insults being thrown at you from pedestrians after they have seen that. :lol1:

salsa-king 14 October 2006 07:36 AM

the other thing.. her from BRAKE saying young ppl should pass a test at 17 etc.. then go a year do a re test before they can come off P plates.. then prove they can drive.

but if you hav knobs driving when banned, or steeling car to joy ride.. how will that stop them killing innocent ppl?

also what about all those of any age/sex driving under the influence of 'soft' + 'hard' drugs un aware of hat speed they ar doing??!!

just read on www.cruisesounth.co.uk that the mad mile footage was filmed 5-6yrs ago!!

andypugh2000 14 October 2006 08:13 AM

What about all the pensioners who forgot what a rear view mirror was 20 years ago, they are more of a risk now than younger drivers, they cause the accidents and merrily carry on driving off unaware of the carnage in their rear view they have just caused

Exactly, here's post I made on another forum during the week.

I'm expecting the police round tonight:Whatever_

Cos some stupid old lady said she was going to report me for over taking on a bend in a 40mph limithttp://www.nissangtir.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

When in reality the only over taking I did was on a straight in a 60, past a woman who was still doing 40 in a 60limit, like she had been for the last 3-4miles, and down to 20 round some bends and also had her fog lights on all the time when it wasn't foggy.http://www.nissangtir.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley12.gif

Also she's going to report the other boy racer in the Audi that went past her as well. http://www.nissangtir.co.uk/forum/smileys/smiley14.gif

So if Mr policeman comes round, I'll tell him to go round and let her know that the road in question is a national speed limit except for the one village on it. The place I over took is about a 600yd straight. She illegally had her fog lights on in perfect visability and she was also causing a queue as far as you could see behind due to her poor driving ability
