European Courier advice please guys
Hi All
Can anybody suggest a reliable, secure and efficent european courier:wonder: . Sounds fairly straight forward, well actually no. I need to get a watch sent from Belgium to the UK which has a value of £1300 and as you will appreciate I am keen to ensure it is insured against loss or damage. Most of the big boys are a no go other than DHL who want a mind blowing 125 euros to cover it!! Anybodt have any suggestions please. I have considered a same day flight which would work out at about £60 return sameday but the margins for error are to great as I would have a one hour window to meet the seller and collect the watch and then jump on the return flight. Anyone help please. Regards GB |
its too small and easily nicked .
im in the airfreight insdustry my advice is as follows... you will struggle to get it insured, to be honest its far too small. id fly over and pick it up but tell the wife you can only get overnight flights:luxhello: but, if you are intent on couriering it i would go with tnt or dhl therir overnight hub is in belgium and i think they each have a couple of flts a night into bru or ostende alone. if you went with a n other courier or freight co like myself we would use their network anyway and just not tell you. expect to pay around 50 quid but we would walk away rather than insure it. please bear in mind i have had 100 kg consignments lost before today and know of a hot air balloon basket thats been lost recently. also by wary of the online tracking we only out up on the web what we want you to know!!! |
