For around 200 quid. Just the base unit, don't need anything else. Must be complete and working, don't want software or OS but must have a USB port.

Got my old Compaq Presario, with Pii 400 in it if that is of any use?

Hi Steve,
This is what I've got: has 128mb memory, 512k cache, 8gb IDE drive, USB, 8mb video memory, but could be persuaded to put my AGP TNT Ultra 2 in there instead of the standard ATi rage one. also base unit has no CD/DVD in it. Pii 400mhz inc heat sink and fan, never overclocked. built in ethernet and sound which work in w2k and XP. Also have another 128mb memory I just bought for it which I was trying to send back, but am having difficultities so it would potentially have 256mb memory. some specs here: http://www.compaq.com/athome/support/msgs/5600/spcific.html Let me know if you are interested. cheers, greg [Edited by gregh - 11/21/2001 5:46:07 PM] |
