No age

Never heard of him, but quite sad, and young too
I was 24 when I was first diagnosed, and then 26 when I got it again, beat it twice and turned 38 today, and still going strong :) |

Thoughts go out to his wife and daughter, that's too young to die :( RIP Paul |
Sad, good snooker player too. Cant believe how young he is still and for it to end like that, puts plenty into perspective.
|
That is sad. I used to enjoy watching him play :(

He cometh up and is potted, like an easy red.

Too young to die. He was a very talented young man with magnificent looks. http://photocdn.sohu.com/20050405/Img225025906.jpg Great loss to snooker world. my thoughts with his family. |
Sad news :(
Was a talented player with lots to offer |
And you failed to notice two other threads with the same sentiment.
Thanks mods, for combining the threads and making me look foolish. :) |
Well in fairness, there were 3 threads in different places, so I've merged them.

Chris good work!! |
:( :( :(
I thought he was getting better too, he looked rather pale and run down last year but still played but i thought this was after treatment he had recieved and respected him so much for playing when he obviously was battling through such a barrier. I thought he was on the up and didnt believe the post! what sad news and at such a young age too :( Thoughts are with his family |
Very Sad
Just heard on the radio, 3 x Masters Champion, no mean player ! RIP |
Sad news. :(
|
Really really sad  Great snooker player, seemed a really nice guy, and not just a little gorgeous to boot! RIP Paul.
|
27, WAY to young. :(
|
Such sad news. :(
|
christ, didn't even know he had cancer, RIP.

Very sad. He was a very good player. Nice to watch.
Best story I heard about him, was years ago. He was losing a match (think it was a final. Could be wrong though) and was several frames down when It came to the 15mins tea brake. He retired to his dressing room to find his wife/girlfriend waiting for him. To cheer him up and lift his spirits, she shagged him there and then. Returning to the table, and feeling a lot better after his tea brake shag. He then made a dramatic fightback, winning the match. :thumb: Good player. Will miss watching him play :( |
just seen this on the Beeb, dreadful loss:(

Gave himself slippy fingers for smooth cueing action? :D
|
very sorry to hear about this, so young to have such bad cancer too.
Les |
Very sad loss at such a young age as always.
One thing I will say however, he smoked like a trooper..! I'll always remember him being on Superstars a few years back, think he only scored one point, but he was a great laugh and well liked by the other sportsmen. Gotta feel sorry for his wife and young baby..:( |
