Cardiff
Me and some mates are off down to Cardiff for a Stag do on the 28th.
Anyone know good places to go :norty: ;) and which pubs/clubs are the best? And are we likely to get in anywhere or can we get on guest lists for places? Ta in advance :) |
I could tell you what places were 'hip' in the early 80's when I was a student there .... :D Crackin' place but changed a bit since...

"They'll stab you and burn you!"
I was nicely told by a local when we were working near Merther. I'm at Swansea bay for a wedding at the end of the month, I shall be doing my bestest local accent when there to disguise my English accent. ;) |

St Mary street is where you want. Loads of pubs and clubs all on the one street. But be warned, all the popular pubs will charge you entrance money (usually £5) if you go in after 9pm on a Friday or Saturday. That would make it an expensive pub crawl.
I spent a month working there (May-June). Now I know why the Welsh get the reputation of being sheepshaggers. The sheep are more atractive than most of the local women. |

But, I wouldn't live there:D |

Not true about all the pubs! I spent a month working there (May-June). Now I know why the Welsh get the reputation of being sheepshaggers. The sheep are more atractive than most of the local women. |
