Servicing and warranty in USA

I'm a year into my lease of a 5.7 Jeep Grand Cherokee HEMI.

The service schedule is a bit harsh, due to the "extreme" weather in Texas, it's every 3000 miles or 3 months for an oil change, and the usual big service every six months.

I've just had my 12,000 mile service (admittedly at 13,400 as I've been away a lot) and have noticed that my service book hasn't been stamped at all. I've been to two dealers, and have had every service performed (not always on time, but always within a month / 1000ish miles!) but no-one has stamped my book.

I'm about to contact my dealer, but wondered if anyone knew if it wasn't common practise for the dealer to stamp the book in the US? Seems strange, and potentially expensive!!

I have had my jeep liberty for 2 years and they have not once asked for a book stamp. I know they are not doing it with out asking me because the book was stolen at the start of this year.

Little less harsh in New York it is only 5000 miles. From what I can tell they change the oil and that is about it. Not the same as the uk.

On a side note my gf's mum has the same as you and her's leaks from the pillar by the drivers side. HAve you had any problems? They took Jeep to court and they said it is not their problem and the judge sided with jeep!
