CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE COUPE 3.2 SRT-6 (AUTO)

WHEELSHOP0_0 27 September 2006 02:29 PM

orchid35 27 September 2006 02:31 PM

Yes i did even though I said I would never go for a Black car again, shows all the dirt, but hey it's going to be garaged and I won't be cleaning it ;)

My uncle had one of these when his Jeep was in, was well impressed with the performance, it may have been his ropey driving that made it seem more exhilarating. It was the SLK 320 based one.

Is that the faster one ?

Anything is faster than what I'm currently driving

orchid35 27 September 2006 02:52 PM

0-62 mph 5.3 seconds
Maximum speed 155 mph

J4CKO 27 September 2006 02:53 PM

Yep, thats the faster one.

I quite like them, just cos they are different.

Vapid 27 September 2006 02:59 PM

A depreciation disaster but unimportant if you hang on to it and you won't see many others. An off the wall choice. Hope you got a good discount.

TomBoyNI 27 September 2006 03:11 PM

Nice one, a guy in my work had one, very fast and I thought comfortable too!

Good point , but with any new car as soon as you take it off the sales floor , it's depreciation hell, Yes i got loads of free extras always handy to get on with the sales guy :norty:

Not with some cars

stilover 27 September 2006 04:18 PM

Don't like them myself. Handling is supposed to be rubbish, as it's based on the old SLK chassis, that was slated for being sh1te.

But, like you say, not to everyones taste. If you like it, that's all that matters though.

Hope you enjoy it.

I think these cars offer something the SLK didn't though, the 'what the hell was that?' factor. Never driven one so can't comment on the handling but it is reputed to be better than an SLK.

No it will probably do under 5secs...........

Old C32 AMG would hit 60 in 4.6secs, so same engine and transmission in a slightly smaller car........

Just a point, how can you afford one of these if you cannot spell or is the title a typo ?

only on scoobynet people will come out with comments like these.:nono:

PaulMc 27 September 2006 11:01 PM

No way will the Crossfire do 0-60 in less than 6 secs. Evo Mag gave it an absolute slating also. I know i's not all about speed, but it certianly isn't a quick drivers car.

Not all people require exceptional English Language skills in their employment. I know a coulple of very wealthy people who are self made and cannot read or write.
