STI topmounts

I'm about to fit P1 suspension to my classic, just wondered if it would be worth upgrading to STI topmounts as the old ones are probably worn and I assume the P1 had these as standard.

Why not fit a set of adjustable tomounts??

Noltec make a fully camber caster adjustable set available from Zak @ mocom racing. He can do a full geometry setup too if you talk to him about your requirements.

I have been tempted but I'm not planning any track work just fast road and wanted to keep the cost down. Is there a worthwhile gain from the STI ones? I wanted to be sure as they're £60+Vat each.

I ordered my STi top-mounts from the USA. They worked out about £38 each. I did have to pay a bit of import tax, but they're still cheaper than buying from the UK.

Not actually fitted them yet so can't comment on performance, sorry.

If you're wanting to fit them, go for it. They're uprated, so must be better in most ways. Possibly harsher ride though.

That sounds more like it :thumb: Could you tell me where you're getting them from?

Thanks

flatoutscooby, I'm trying to PM you but it says you've exceeded your storage space. I'll keep trying :)
