How's this for an idiot
 

Could'nt believe what happened this morning where I live. Country roads with a few houses and not a lot of traffic. The guy concerned is a specialist surgeon(about 60 yrs old).
Guy comes down the steep hill where he lives driving his Discovery and there is a small branch in the road dislodged by the high winds. Rather than stop to move it, he keeps going and opens his doors so he can grab it on the way past:eek2:

Suffice to say he falls out the Discovery, seriously injuring his back while it charges down the hill, narrowly missing two people and burying itself in the back of a Corolla.
If the Corolla had'nt been there it would have run into a house. Both cops and ambulance had to attend. I'd love to see his explanation on the insurance forms.

Hold on...... give the guy some credit. Sounds like he was trying to move the branch to make the road safer for the next motorist??

Yeah he ballsed it up but most motorists would have just driven past.
