Oh, check you out!!! Yes, I think it will be done...but how easy are the front ones to remove? They look tricky to me....or is that "typical" for a girl!!!!!

WRX_Dazza 18 September 2006 04:45 PM

I had these fitted a few months back!!!

Piece of cake to do.

All that was involved was the following:-

1: Purchase some Chocolate Hobnobs
2: Drive to Xtreme
3: Chat for 1/2 hour with the other ESC members secretly modding their cars ;) - you know who you are!!!
4: Part with a few quid
5: drive away.
..Easy!!!

Dazza :)

WRX_Dazza 18 September 2006 04:48 PM

oh, then create a shopping list for the next few months:

wheels
tyres
zorst
ecu / map
ice
earthing kit
brake upgrade
steering wheel
knocklink
gauges
cam belt

and so on......

but hey, never had so much fun in years!! :)

I went to Carnossieur (sp). I've known Chris in there for a while, probably about 4yrs or so. He's a top bloke :thumb: !

Speaking of Cam belts....how much are these? Taz keeps scaring me with BIG 3 figure numbers when it comes to getting a new one :eek2: !!!!!!

Milamber 18 September 2006 06:11 PM

Em I make it a matter of course to buy a new car and get the cam belt done straight away...

Nate 18 September 2006 07:41 PM

Get that belt changed ..... Better safe than sorry .

It will also work out cheaper than a new or rebuilt engine ;)

EmEm 18 September 2006 09:58 PM

So how much for cam belt change??????

Milamber 18 September 2006 10:01 PM

Ask Knowlsey at Xtreme but it's cheaper than a rebuild........ or take a chance wait for it to blow and then get a 2.5 replacement :norty:
