Without wanting to piss on your chips; Id be extremely surprised if that was an STI. Id guess that it was a 1994 registered MY95 WRX 'Wagon. It has two obvious 1995 model year features and retro fitted STI rear lamps, which were actually introduced on the V3 STIs. I wager that the applied model number is GF8C58D.

As an aside: there were a total of300 Saloons and 300 'Wagons, and both production runs were built from MY94 vehicles.

jonnystiv1 19 September 2006 09:01 PM

dead right i put the rear light on myself after i bought it and got my mate to check code sti alright plate under bonnet says 119 of 200

GC8 19 September 2006 09:11 PM

Second production run then. It has MY95 wheels and spats added, which is what threw me.

I wouldn't have minded taking your wager so. Woulda been easy few quid. Its a genuine Version 1 Sti.:cuckoo: :cuckoo: :cuckoo: :cuckoo: TALK ABOUT ****STIRRING. :hjtwofing Someone goes and upgrades there rear lights to a nicer lookin set from a later model and there called a liar:cuckoo: And spats were available from 92. Seen on lots of 93 ones fitted from factory as in not sprayed etc. So i guess your EXTREMELY SURPRISED SO.

ScuuBdoo 20 September 2006 12:53 AM

you should block out reg plates and street names. If I can figure our where you live then so can the bad guys.

I used to think that way but sure take a drive around for and hour or two and you'll come across all types high performance motors. Wat can you do. Just have it well secured as you can.
