EOEUMC 16 September 2006 07:46 PM

That's one rare colour you have there m8

What are you going to do to it?

GreigRFC 16 September 2006 07:49 PM

Cheers Lads.

Was thinkin of gettin the wheels powder coated or sprayed that anthracite colour. What do you reckon

Definetely gettin the ppp kit when i get the cash.

Already got the black prodrive mudflaps front and rear.

Its a great buzz when you nail the throttle. Cant get enough!!! :D

Dont want to do too much to it though, tryin to keep it lookin standard.

Just like mine so i have to say it looks good.
I can recommend ppp as it transformed my car.
Been toying with the idea of rear tints and looking at yours it looks good :thumb:
Nik.

Welcome mate. Car looks mint. IMO keep it as standard as possible or go for Prodrive/Subaru extras. :thumb: ...Blue car Greig, RFC, are you trying to tell us something lad ;)

GreigRFC 17 September 2006 11:17 PM

Aye colzo it all adds up. What about you? Hope your a ger!!:thumb:

COLZO 17 September 2006 11:54 PM

All I can say is I`m gutted after todays result! Read your thread about a Dump Valve, as you`re new to SN you`ll not know that asking a question like that provokes a mindfield of YES/NO debates. IMO no would be the answer as you probably want it just for the noise. I had a FORGE one on my old P1, with no running problems at all, but seriously the noise does your head in after a while especially on motorway journeys. Your car looks mint try not to cheapen it with Dump Valves and massive exhausts! Prodrive parts might be expensive but fit perfect and are quality products which must surely reflect on your car.
P.S. a win next week will do nicely :D

GreigRFC 18 September 2006 12:12 AM

:thumb: Cheers Buddy

Not going to get a dump valve now anyway. Decided to save my money for the ppp kit.
Thing is though most of the imprezas ive seen have dump valves. I thought that they were a common addition to the car. Didn't realise is could cause such an uproar on here.

I really hope we can get a good performance on sat and tank that shower of sh*te.

bpm1588 18 September 2006 12:21 AM

your new car is a beaut! best of luck with her

COLZO 18 September 2006 12:28 AM

Defo. get the PPP. I`ve got it and it makes a big difference. Just keep the standard re-circulating Dump Valve as Prodrive themselves are dead against any aftermarket ones. Enjoy your car mate you`ll be best pals with the boy at the Shell garage now! :lol1: :thumb:

Tell me about it. I should be getting a discount loyalty card off them for the amount of times im in there.

Cheers for your help colzo :thumb:

bioforger 18 September 2006 02:54 AM

I would get a full decat n remap from Powerstation. It will work out cheaper n provide better performance imo.

xxQuartzxx 18 September 2006 07:35 AM

nice car bud .. welcome

crazyman1979 18 September 2006 09:41 AM

I presume its out of warranty so why not go TSL333 instead of PPP, i did and its great!

When I got the car it came with an extended 1 year warranty. Also heard that if you get the ppp kit it adds value to the car?
I got the mudflaps from the subaru dealer as part of the deal when i got the car. I think they cost about £110 for the full set!! 4 bits of plastic - RIP OFF!!

It's nice mate! I have just joined the Scooby club too; I got a classic shape Turbo 2000, thats the best shape IMO. I do still like the new ones though!!!

Mangel 18 September 2006 03:50 PM

WRC blue newage and anthracite looks pretty good I reckon

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i1...o/DSCF0784.jpg

go for scott lowe splitter to give the front a more agressive look and detango plus black or in my case metallic grey the internals of your lights!!

How long does it take to get the TSL 333 upgrade fitted? Emailed them but no reply. Are there any other good upgrades or is that the best one?

Mangel 18 September 2006 05:20 PM

Powerstation do one which I've been out in, thats pretty good.

Roger Clarke also do one which is pretty quick.

All around the same power ish 330 - 350 BHP

It all depends on your pocket size and preference!!!
