pennyless.....

well its another weekend and im stuck in, due too lack of spare cash (due to saving to get the scoob sorted for a trip to the ring next year!!)...
any body else bored off there trees too? having to spend time with the other half...

comments on a postcard... god im bored. wish i was a "gold" member of the maccy d's crew so i could be excused for sitting down there with my cap on listening to "drum n barse" chatting up 14 year olds...:)

but i wont complain about my baby, she deserves the best and will get it when the pennies are there.

rant over, boredom.... nope still there.

andy:)

Options available

1) Use the time when skint to study to advance career

2) Do the stuff that you should do, but don't

3) Buy cheap booze and get pished

4) Err, can't remember, I chose option 3

:)

chocolate_o_brian 15 September 2006 08:02 PM

option one seems good. got some drawing to do for a few guys of here so may sit this weekend and get staffychances scooby done for him.

as far as career progression, nah i work in a warehouse after turning down uni 4 years ago to study transport design

mike1273 15 September 2006 08:44 PM

I would of started earlier too, but I got stuck in traffic behind a 4b4 pulling a horse box, with a horse in it!!!
Best thought not to overtake incase the Ninja back box made the horse get out and run faster than the bloody 4b4 :D

The Rig 16 September 2006 01:37 PM

To be honest, if saving for the scoob to have work done takes away the day to day fun of life like i dunno, cinema, eating out, going out, buying new not expensive toys etc etc then i wouldnt bother, why have a ****e boring life just to mod the car ?!?!

waits for ear bashing......... but really, do you get me ?

Lifes too short..........

yeah i get what your saying. really its my own fault for two reasons...

1. wanting and indeed buying a turbo after writing off a sport lol

2. crashing the turbo and buggering up the arb, subframe, and wishbone on the n/s

plus i want to mod the car a little more than just a full decat, basically to give the evo 4/5/6 round my area that keeps trying to bait me, a ride for his money... oh and personal gratification...

shes an old car and somethings need ware and tear replacing so im gonna buy her the best or at least half decent:D

me being skint is my fault in general due to loans etc and other silly debts. its what you get for having a mrs, scooby turbo and a mortgage at 22 years old.

but id rather sell my house than not have a subaru in my life... and i seriously mean that, rather be skint with a decent car.

I know what u mean, the mrs wrote my sport off so i bought the turbo, but its not been that much more expensive to be honest in running etc.

Id like to mod mine but in al honesty, all my wages go on the bills,The Mrs stays at home and looks after the 2 little uns and i pay for mortgage etc etc,not minted by far.

Im 26 and thought, i could of bought a nice reliable efficeint diesel but then thought, i might be dead soon, u never know, an old guy told me once, when you get to 90,if indeed you do, you must have memories of your life,if you dont have much to say at that age, well, apart from the smart arses who say most 90 yr olds cant remember ****e, it was a wasted life.

what im getting at is, try and live for now,you might not get to the age you think and ya savings etc could of been enjoyed !

good luck anyhoos.....

wise words mate... now all i gotta do is pull my finger out and do some overtime lol, that would boost the scooby fund. god i can see outside at my car on the street and the silly bitch with the white micra from 3 doors down has blocked me in... ah well i knew that was why i didnt get the bumper resprayed... lets play dodgems when picking the mrs up!!!:D
