EVOLUTION 11 September 2006 09:51 PM

how do you get in ?

Legal Eagle 11 September 2006 09:56 PM

Well, if that's the standard of written English currently in use in the RAF, I think we should give them every encouragement to leave so that they can go to college...

dn12345 11 September 2006 10:01 PM

As a (happily) serving member of the RAF I must say I've never read such tosh in my life. It's the minority - like the person that posted that link - that breed discontempt within the service. Fair enough, there are people who join and decide it's not for them but there's no need to post sh1t like that over the net.

If you join up then do your time and stop moaning.

I just handed in my notice and a year later was released.

Easy. Just like the last year I served ;).

For God's sake! We don't have National Service any more - if you joined up you did it because you wanted to. And you signed a contract.

The RAF (or Navy, or Army) have spent a considerable amount of OUR money training you so that you are able to perform a useful role. And when you finish your time you will find that the training you have had is better by far than that which your civilian counterparts will have received. And yes, you will also find that the rates of pay you can command are likely to be better too.

Personally if someone came to me for a job having bucked the system to get out early I'd show them the door. You whine about getting into trouble for not doing as you're told. Well try doing as you're told then! You joined the military, not the Salvation Army - that must have meant something before you signed on the dotted line, surely?

I have no doubt that the RAF would be far, far better off without you. But you need to wind your neck in, get on with the job YOU signed up for and see if you can make yourself into a man,or at least a better person by doing it.

What a dik etc

dsmith 11 September 2006 10:23 PM

Somehow I feel slightly safer now the author isn't alllowed near aircraft, missiles, guns or anything else that might be dangerous.

Bit of a shame, that the driving test doesn't inlcude a test of basic intelligence and literacy.

sti-04!! 11 September 2006 10:35 PM

Fcukin Idiot.

AudiLover 11 September 2006 10:44 PM

cant you just buy your way out?

DCI Gene Hunt 11 September 2006 10:50 PM

You are the type that will now join the police, fain an injury, and go long term sick at the tax payers expense..... you are a feckin disgrace to all the service lads fighting and dieing overseas..... you nob....

carl 11 September 2006 11:22 PM

Sorry if I'm missing something, but that page doesn't actually explain how to get out of the RAF.

So you've created a page called "how to get out of the RAF" with no information on it, that we should pass onto family and friends so you can create a site about "how to get out of the RAF". Why should we?

brihoppy 11 September 2006 11:47 PM

unusually for me, i havent been compelled to stick my oar into many threads recently, but i just had to on this one...!!!

who wrote this absolute toss...?!? i havent read such utter crap in a long time...its got to be a wind-up surely...???

:cuckoo:

ss's

He meant tossssers, but that's rude.

Vapid 12 September 2006 08:27 AM

Sounds like the author should just go and tell them he's a retard.

Nothing wrong with wanting to get out of the services, after all you'd have to be pretty stupid to want to be a pawn of people like Blair and Bush.

I'm sure it would be pretty easy to get kicked out for example- just go and tell them you take drugs if you want to get out.

:iamwithst Oh,Oh i think we've got some Anti forces do-gooder here :iamwithst

This guys page deserves to be spammed ,coming on here and asking stupid questions.I for one am proud of all our armed services, too many people on civvy street forget the job they are doing and because they aint fighting on our doorstep don't really bother too much when they get killed, but remember its these same people that would be fighting to protect me and you if this little island ever got invaded. In the forces ,the more you put in the more you get out ,it's all about attitude, and we can see this guy's pretty clearly stinks.

The sheer idiocy of some people never fails to amaze and amuse me.

Protect what exactly? Vested interests? In the unlikely event of someone wanting to invade the '****tish Isles' then they could hardly make it worse than it already is.
I'd have thought the money we waste on the forces could be better spent elsewhere rather than sending out low IQ muppets to the middle east to be ground into meat paste for no reason other than an imperialist crusade which is failing in any case.

Spamming up this guys website just demonstrates that people on here (including a moderator) consider that type of abuse acceptable as long as you consider the recipient to be stupid and risible. Just as well really eh?:)

dsmith 12 September 2006 10:38 AM

iantype-r - are you the author of the site ?

Please read these 2 pages:- "advise" and "advice"

Paul3446 12 September 2006 10:43 AM

"civiy street"!!!

Great spelling, you seem perfectly equiped for a long life on benefits. :lol1:

Leslie 12 September 2006 10:49 AM

To my mind, if you sign a contract then it means something and to break it is nothing to be proud about.

You joined presumably with an open mind, The RAF took you on and trained you. I think you should fullfill the original agreement.

Les

dn12345 12 September 2006 02:43 PM

Vapid, you seem to be of the same breed as the chap who wrote the first link. You may think of the UK as the '****tish isles' (very original by the way) and you may hold the opinion that the current situation in the Middle East is nothing more than a crusade, but that does not give you the right to refer to those whose necks are on the line as 'low IQ muppets'.

People need to understand that we join the armed forces to protect our country and if the Government decide that the best way to do this is to combat forces in distant parts of the world then so be it.

If you don't agree with the 'War on Terror' - or whatever it's being referred to as now - then keep your trap shut and have some respect for the guys and girls who are out there fighting it.

esp ltd 12 September 2006 03:14 PM

If i wanted to leave i'd simply fake my own death and move to Luton in Bedfordshire :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:
