Nice, would like to get my white WRX sprayed in the newer glacier white or wotever it is.

what did that set u back ?

was it a blow over of full rub down/spray job ?

cheers

scooberuni 11 September 2006 11:14 PM

Very nice indeed!:thumb:
I like the detail at the front- white grill, white morettes, white head lamp surrounds. Mint! Would you consider white alloys? I think it would look allwight! :lol1:

COLZO 11 September 2006 11:58 PM

Very nice mate. :thumb:

bluerigster 12 September 2006 07:55 AM

Thanks for the comments:thumb:

The job was a complete rub down with all doors, boot and bonnet removed. All door sills and inside of boot were sprayed new subaru pure white instead of the original feather white (much brighter) . All the work took three weeks and cost me two grand.

Cheers

The Rig 12 September 2006 08:10 AM

sweet,it is a better white than the earlier white, like my MY95.

Fair play, around here, there isnt anyone id trust to do a good job like that.

Silver Scooby Sport 12 September 2006 09:06 AM

I see you have your name down for the meet on Thursday :D looking forward to seeing this in the flesh it looks like some quality workmanship

frayz 12 September 2006 09:19 AM

Looks great but wheres the roof vent?

bluerigster 12 September 2006 09:34 AM

It's a WRX instead of the STI which comes with the roof vent. I though I would save a little money buying the WRX over the STI. But ended up replacing the whole engine and gearbox anyway as the car hadn't been cared for by it's previous owner. So much for the saving!.

frayz 12 September 2006 09:50 AM

So its not a real RA then? Oh sorry.

Car looks nice though mate :D

RS Grant 12 September 2006 09:56 AM

Think he means that its a WRX RA rather than a WRX STi RA... :)

Looks absolutely mint, love the P1 front end. :thumb:

Cheers,
Grant

bluerigster 12 September 2006 09:33 PM

Cheers gents, all the hard work was done by Mal at Mals Auto Sprays in Talbot Green. He's done a few cars for me and they have all been finished to a high standard. I'd recommend him to anyone. :thumb:

Silver Scooby Sport 12 September 2006 09:59 PM

This is a picture from a while back ;)

Not sure who's it is but I thought it looked spot on at the time and still do, all you need is a roof vent :D

Anyone know who it belonged to ??

I remember seeing it on here a long time back and have always kicked myself for not saving all the pictures at the time.... any more about do you know ?
Was it a Ford white ? I remember it was not a standard colour at the time.
